Why is my gym website not getting enquiries?

Usually because visitors can’t see what they came for straight away: membership prices, the class timetable, and how to book a trial pass or a first visit. Put those three on the home page, on mobile, with one clear button to book.

Why it happens to gyms and fitness studios.

Hidden prices
People compare gyms on price. “Contact us for membership options” reads as expensive, and they check the gym down the road that shows its prices.
The timetable lives somewhere else
Class times often sit inside a booking app. If the website doesn’t show or link to them clearly, visitors can’t tell whether the classes fit their week.
No easy way to try
Joining a gym is a commitment. A trial pass or intro session that can be booked online lowers the step.
Photos that don’t show the gym
Stock images of models don’t show your floor, your kit or your members. People want to see where they’ll train.

What to do, in order.

  1. Show prices

List membership options and prices on the site. If they vary, give a “from” price and what’s included.

  2. Surface the timetable

Show this week’s classes on the site or link to them from every page, not just the footer.

  3. Offer a paid trial or intro session

A trial pass or intro session people can book online. Call it what it is, and say what happens after.

  4. Use real photos

Your floor, your classes, your coaches, taken at a busy time with members’ permission.

  5. Plan the January rush

Have your offer page and booking ready before New Year, so you’re not changing the site during your busiest weeks.

Should a gym show membership prices online?

Usually, yes. People compare gyms on price, and a hidden price often reads as a high one. If prices depend on the option, show a “from” price and what each includes.

Does my class booking app replace a website?

No. Booking apps are good for members booking classes, but new visitors need to find you on Google, see your prices and understand what you offer before they download anything.
