Why isn’t my tutoring website getting enquiries?
Usually because it doesn’t answer what parents ask before they get in touch: which subjects, levels and exam boards you teach, your price, online or in person, your availability and your DBS status. Put those answers on the page, then make booking a trial lesson or a call the obvious next step.

Why it happens to tutors.
- Parents are comparing, not browsing
- A parent with three tabs open picks the tutor whose page answers most of their questions. Missing prices or subjects send them to the next tab.
- Searches are exam-specific
- Parents search for “GCSE maths tutor”, “A level chemistry tutor” or “11+ tutor” plus a town. One general page has little to match those searches.
- The page is about you, not the pupil
- Qualifications matter, but parents want to know how lessons run, how you track progress and how you keep them in the loop.
- No easy next step
- If the only option is an email address, many parents put it off. A form or a booking link for a trial lesson is easier to act on.
What to do, in order.
List subjects, levels and exam boards
Be specific: GCSE maths (AQA and Edexcel), A level biology, 11+ verbal reasoning. Say what you don’t teach too.
Show prices and packages
Your hourly price, any termly package and how payment works. If prices vary by level, give a starting price for each.
Say online, in person or both
Name the areas you travel to, and the platform you use for online lessons.
Show your DBS status and how a first lesson works
Say if you hold a current enhanced DBS certificate, and explain what happens in a trial lesson.

Should I offer a trial lesson?
Many tutors do, because parents want to see how their child gets on with you before committing to a term. Whether you charge for it is your call; say clearly on your page what the trial involves and what it costs. The guide to websites that don’t get enquiries covers the wider fixes.
Do I need a page for each exam?
If you want those searches, yes. An 11+ page, a GCSE page and an A level page can each answer the questions those parents ask, and give Google something specific to match. See landing page in the glossary.
What does an Enquiry Page cost?
The Enquiry Page is a fixed £800, paid half to start and half at launch, and typically takes 1 to 2 weeks once the details are agreed. See what’s included.
