When should I start on this?

November is a good time. Most of the list takes an evening or two, and a few items, such as Google photos and reviews, are better done before the Christmas break than in the first week of January.

Does it work for a September intake too?

Yes. Course providers, clubs and coaches with a September start can use the same list. Swap the dates and start in July.

Do I need new software for any of this?

Not usually. Most booking systems already send reminders and take deposits; they just need switching on and testing. The online booking cost guide covers what to look for if you don’t have one yet.

What happens to my details if I ask for it by email?

Sammy uses them to send you the checklist. You won’t be added to a mailing list. The privacy notice has the details.
